Reframing Campaign Creation
Before Campaign Studio, customers faced disjointed ways to get started, had to back out to switch channels, and could only work on one campaign at a time — leading many to stick with email alone. We streamlined everything into a cohesive, channel-agnostic workflow where users can switch channels in one click, generate AI-powered content, and schedule multiple posts and messages together. A phased rollout — Switcher, Create Panel, Scheduling, and Reporting — delivered immediate value while laying the groundwork for more advanced capabilities.

Smarter Templates with AI
To make multi-channel campaigns succeed, email had to feel effortless. Our old templates lacked flexibility and modern polish, so I overhauled the system to produce professional, on-brand designs quickly. Then I paired that foundation with AI, letting marketers start from a simple idea and instantly see a complete draft — not just subject line and body copy, but full layouts enhanced with Getty Images, ensuring professional, on-brand visuals.
By marrying fresh design with intelligent automation, we turned email creation from a hurdle into a highlight. Since launch, this upgrade has driven a 34% increase in email publishing, showing that stronger templates plus AI don’t just improve emails — they empower the broader multi-channel journey.
Previewing Value Through the Asset Manager
Instead of asking users to plan a full campaign upfront, Campaign Studio made it easy to build as they go—starting from tools they already use, like the email editor. The experience was redesigned to let users begin with a single message—email, social, or SMS—and expand organically, add or remove channels without starting over, keep assets and scheduling synced across channels behind the scenes, and receive guidance through inline prompts and content suggestions.
That wasn’t a need that I knew I had... I would’ve just done email for a long time. But it’s nice — Campaign Studio makes everything so consistent.
The Create Panel: Gentle Guidance, Just in Time
To support first-time multichannel users, we introduced a “Create Panel” — a smart side panel that appeared only when and where it was needed. It helped users preview channel-specific versions of content as they typed, understand what to write with suggested copy and scheduling, and stay focused without losing momentum in the main editor. The panel struck the right balance of assistance and autonomy, offering help without ever feeling intrusive.
It keeps everything organized... I can see how it’s all connected without clicking into five different places.
Coordinated Scheduling at a Glance
To help users stay organized and confident in their timelines, we introduced a shared calendar view — a visual scheduling tool that brought all campaign touchpoints together.
With the calendar, users could see upcoming emails, social posts, and SMS messages in one place, drag and drop to reschedule across channels, avoid overlaps or gaps in communication, and get reminders for unscheduled or draft items. This gave customers a clearer sense of pacing and progress, whether they were planning for the week ahead or mapping out a seasonal campaign.
I like being able to step back and see everything at once — it feels like a real plan now.
Building Toward a Smarter System
Campaign Studio sets the stage for a more intelligent platform — one where AI, automation, and reusable content help campaigns scale effortlessly. We’re expanding support for dynamic content reuse, smarter scheduling, and performance-driven suggestions, with a long-term vision of a system that not only helps users launch, but learns and adapts alongside them.

Campaign Studio transformed campaign creation from an email-only workflow into a multi-channel growth engine. Within 6 months of launch, customers nearly tripled their multi-channel adoption (+188%), MCF grew to drive 33% of all multi-channel campaign creation, and it reached publishing parity with Campaign Builder. Early cohorts showed 20% lower churn, protecting $250K+ in ARR.
