Students launch their careers as historians in this investigative journey into Ancient Chinese sites in Beijing, Xi’an and Chengdu. We start in the bustling city of Beijing, where students will explore ancient sites such as the Forbidden City and the Juyongguan Section of the Great Wall. Students then travel to Xi’an to see Terracotta warriors and learn about China’s ancient history. Finally, we’ll travel to Chengdu to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, one of the tallest pre-modern statues in the world, and to experience traditional afternoon tea.
